Oral history interview with Auguste Katherine Heiden , 1978 July 3.

Auguste Heiden reminisces about her life as a translator, book-keeper, secretary and farm wife. She describes family members and relationships, her fondness for raising chickens and making cheese, the acquisition of the farm, the Lutheran Church, the responsibilities associated with land ownership, her immigration from England in 1915, and her preparation of a will. Holograph transcript is incomplete. Also included is a typed transcription of records from a Heiden family bible and a photocopy of part of the original deed to the Heiden farm.
